Hand sanitizers will be stored inside and outside the test center, NTA said. All India Medical Entrance Examination (NEET) is being starting across the country on Sunday after many setbacks.
According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), 1.5 million candidates can join for tomorrow’s NEET. Extreme precautions have been taken for the safety of the corona pandemic. The number of exam centers has been greatly increased for candidates to prevent corona infection.
Initially, the test will be taken at 2,546 centers across the country. Later, the number of Exam centers was increased to 3,843. Only 12 people will be placed in each room.
Note that NEET was postponed twice because of the Corona situation. The test was scheduled for May 3. That date was canceled on 26th July. But that date was also canceled due to the tense situation in the country.
In the end, the test will be taken on September 13. There have been many cases and there has been a lot of political pressure. But central government is very strict.
An official of the National Testing Agency told the media that care has been taken to ensure that the candidates enter and exit to maintain the social distance outside the exam center.
Arrangements have been made so that the examinees can stand while maintaining social distance before entering the hall. State governments have been requested to make arrangements so that the examinees can easily reach to the examination center.
According to NTA, hand sanitizers will be stored inside and outside the test center so that the examinees can use them. Admit cards of the candidates have been given barcodes instead of hand-checking.
As a result, it will be tested quickly. Candidates will be given a mask when they enter the test center. They can’t use their own masks.
