Airtel Launches “Unlimited” Broadband Plans Starting From ₹499

With the new plans beginning at ₹499 a month, Bharti Airtel revamped its broadband XstreamFiber service to provide all “unlimited” high-speed connectivity to the Internet. The telecom company has also confirmed that it is offering the Xstream Android 4K TV Box with all of its plans and a free subscription to an OTT list of applications, including its Airtel Xstream Pack. The latest improvements just arrive one week after the revision of the plans for JioFiber internet since Reliance Jio is an arch-rival of the Airtel.

As per its latest data, Airtel has unveiled five separate unlimited plans to provide its broadband internet XstreamFiber. The ₹499 package with up to 40Mbps speeds is the cheapest in the series. ₹799, ₹999, ₹1,499, and ₹3,999 plans have been developed with speeds of up to 100Mbps, 200Mbps, 300Mbps, and 1Gbps. Each new scheme provides an unrestricted allowance of high-speed data.

Though by visiting the terms and conditions page on the Airtel broadband website, you will be able to see that the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) is capped at 3,333GB per month, and after that, the speed will be reduced to 1,024Kbps. Reaching such data usage is very hard for everyone and even a technologic person will not be able to consume this much data in a month since it is more than 100GB a day.

The fiber internet plans for Airtel XstreamFiber also provide limitless voice calls for those use₹ who use a fixed phone with their connection. The plans even include access for Airtel Xstream, which offers more than 10,000 films, shows, series, and OTT subscriptions for free. Additionally, the ₹999, ₹1,499, and ₹3,999 Airtel broadband plans are also combined with Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, and Zee5 services.

Along with the latest broadband plans, Airtel confirmed that it is offering Xstream packages with a security deposit of ₹1,500, including free subscriptions to Amazon Prime Streaming, Disney+ Hotstar, and Zee5, for its broadband customers Airtel had previously given its cable customers an equivalent security deposit for the TV Box. The complimentary access portion, however, appears to be recent.

Before the new upgrade, Airtel introduced a monthly package of ₹799 for its XstreamFiber broadband connections. However, the latest change seems to be a means of keeping the telecom competitive in the race against Reliance Jio, whose JioFiber broadband platform recently updated to include new offerings as low as ₹399 a month. The Mumbai-based telecommunications company has provided its new subscribers with “no conditional 30 days free trials” and provided its current customers with a preview of its latest plans.

More information about the latest broadband plans can be found on the Airtel Thanks App and Airtel India’s official website. The unrestricted Internet network plans have already been updated for the current XstreamFiber broadband subscribers. The company also has a means of transferring to the latest arrangements for its present customers. New customers have reached Airtel for clarification about how current broadband subscribe₹ will migrate to new plans and we are still waiting for their reply.
