Huami is all set to release its brand new Amazfit Smartwatch on December 1. It is said to be unveiled in China. Huami has released a teaser of this new smartwatch, telling the world briefly about its design and key specifications. According to the teaser, the new Amazfit Pop Pro Smartwatch includes a built-in GPS and is capable of providing NFC support. My Fix Guide reported the smartwatch to have a 1.43-inch OLED display with a touch screen. The Amazfit Pop Pro is believed to be a slightly more premium and advanced version of Amazfit Pop.
Although they both appear similar in style, the Pro watch having a teal colour silicon strap option and a square-shaped dial. The built-in GPS is what mainly differentiates the new Pop Pro watch from Amazfit Pop. Apart from these, the Amazfit Pop Pro Smartwatch includes features like sleep and 24-hour heart rate monitoring and an index measure of PAI( Personal Activity Intelligence) to check on the health and lifestyle of the one that wears it. It also consists of a SpO2 sponsor and over 60 modes for exercise and sports stuff including brisk walking, jogging, running, cycling, etc.
The user’s voice can be recognized by its in-built microphone on deck. The poster also shows that the Pro watch will weigh only 31 grams which is less than the older Pop smartwatch. The teaser of the upcoming Amazfit Pop Pro Smartwatch was uploaded on Huami’s Weibo account. It is said that on one charge, the smartwatch will last up to 9 days. According to all these specifications, most of the features have been offered by the regular Amazfit watches. But this new watch carries some advanced features already mentioned above, that’s why the name Pro. Initially, the watch is shown only in green colour, but more colours are expected after its release on December 1.
Huami will release all the key features and specifications on the decided date of release in China. Amazfit Pop Smartwatch was released at an affordable price of CNY 348 which converts to Rs.3900. It contained the same display size as the Pro watch, a Bluetooth 5.0, a 225mAh battery, an in-house Bio Tracker 2 PPG to monitor blood oxygen level, and NFC. It was highly water-resistant, getting a 5ATM rating for it. The Amazfit Pop Pro Smartwatch, advanced as it is, is likely to be more expensive than the Pop watch. However, Huami has not yet announced whether its upcoming Pro Smartwatch will hit the markets outside China or not.
