Government Again Ban AliExpress Includes 42 more Chinese Apps, Here The List

The Indian government has taken another step towards boycotting Chinese goods. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology in India has been forced to make this decision due to the long-running data theft of various Chinese apps and theft of important personal information. Today, Tuesday India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has decided to band about 43 new Chinese apps under section 69A of the Information Technology Act.

The 43 Apps included very popular mobile application Alibaba Workbench, AliExpress, Alipay Cashier, CamCard and WeDate. Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology issued that Those Chinese apps have been imposed for hampering in activities prejudicial to India’s sovereignty, integrity, defiance, security and public order.

In an official statement “This action was taken based on the inputs regarding these apps for engaging in activities which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defense of India, security of state and public order”, the Centre said.

In the early, 29^th June and 2^nd September Indian Government already ban 59 and 118 Chinese mobile applications under section 69A of the Information Technology Act. This includes most popular App TikTok, WeChat, Ludo All Star along with PubG.

“Government is committed to protect the interests of citizen and sovereignty and integrity of India on all fronts and it shall take all possible steps to ensure that,” Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology includes statement.
