It’s not surprising to predict that this would happen. Fifteen years later, the last four fights of the Champions League are over without Messi and Ronaldo. And so, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, two of the best stars in world football, did not make the place to the top eleven this season at the end of Europe’s best fight. As expected, Bayern footballers dominated the first XI.
By beating PSG 1-0 in the Lisbon mega final, Bayern Munich has won the Champions League for the sixth time. Although this season, Messi and Ronaldo have not been named in Goal.com’s Champions League XI, but PSG’s Brazilian star Neymar has been named in the top XI. And most importantly, there are eight Bayern Munich footballers in the top eleven.
