Maharashtra was again hit by the disaster on Monday afternoon. This year is not going well for the country and the nation. A five-storey building in the Maharashtra’s Raigad district collapsed completely on Monday evening. At least 15 people are believed to be injured and more than 55 are feared trapped in the incident of building collapse. There are a total of 45 flats in this residence.

Upon learning of the incident, the NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) sent three teams to the scene. And Housing Minister of Maharashtra Aditi Tatkare is also going to consider the situation at the scene soon.

In this context, the Home Minister of India Amit Saha described the accident as very sad and he promised to help the injured and casualties in the accident as much as possible.

“The collapse of a building in Raigad, Maharashtra is very tragic. Have spoken to DG @NDRFHQ to provide all possible assistance, teams are on the way and will be assisting with the rescue operations as soon as possible. Praying for everyone’s safety” said Amit Saha.

It is very dangerous to stay in those houses during the rainy season as they are very low quality houses and old houses. A similar building collapse occurred in 2009. Today’s pigeon crash is just a replica of the previous year.

According to Raigad police incharge Suresh Yamga “As per the information, the Tariq Garden building was built around six years ago. Around 55 persons have been trapped under the debris while 15 injured have been rescued. The injured have been rushed to a hospital for further treatment.”

According to many sources more than 70 people still trapped in the rubble of the wreckage.. NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) teams are trying its best to rescue all the trapped people with their full squad with maximum strength and rescue them as soon as possible.
