Hyderabad: Pharma company Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Limited has been hit by a cyber attack. Since then, Dr. Reddy’s has disconnected all of his data centers to secure the database.
Dr Reddy’s said the decision was a precautionary measure. CIO Mukesh Rathi said they hoped all services would resume in the next 24 hours, but the attack had no effect on their operations.
The expert committee of the Drug Controller General of India or DGCI has allowed Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories to start the second phase trial of the Russian corona vaccine Sputnik V.
They said that this test will be on 100 people, in the third phase the test will be on 1400 people. The expert panel will examine the second phase of the test after getting it in hand.
It will then be decided whether the third round of testing can be allowed.
