Australia won the last match of the series on Tuesday. England lost to Australia by 5 wickets in the last T20 match. Australia won the match and topped the ICC T20 rankings.
Before the start of the England-Australia T20 series, England was at number two in the rankings and Australia was at the top. The equation was that England would be the number one team if they could whitewash Australia.
And if they win at least one match, Australia will hold the top spot. England won the first two T20 matches of the series. But in the last match, they lost to Australia. Now Australia is at number one with 275 rating points. On the other hand, England remained at number two with 271 rating points.

Batting first in the last T20 match on Tuesday, England lost 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs and scored 145 runs. In reply, With 3 balls left, Australia reached the target by losing 5 wickets. The England-Australia three-match one-day series will start in Manchester from September 11.
