BCCI President Sourav Ganguly’s sudden illness has caused a stir in the sports arena. West Bengal Sports Minister Laxmiratan Shukla went to the hospital to see him. Indian skipper Virat Kohli and reliable left-arm opener Shikhar Dhawan wished Sourav a speedy recovery by tweeting.
Virat’s tweet, ‘Dada, get well soon. Praying for you. ’Dhawan tweeted,‘ dada, I wish you a speedy recovery. Get well soon. ‘Greetings also came from across the border. Former Pakistan captain Waqar Younis also tweeted wishing Sourav get well soon.

Sourav’s teammate Virendra Sehwag also tweeted wishing him well. In a tweet, Sehwag wrote, ‘Dada, get well soon. I am praying for your speedy recovery. ‘Another former teammate of Sourav, Anil Kumble also tweeted and wished him a speedy recovery. A teammate Irfan Pathan also said that he would pray for Sourav’s speedy recovery.
