The launch of the 2020 iPhones is just a few months away, which are supposed to be unveiled in September or October 2020, as there are so many rumors about iPhone 12 going in the market out there. The 2020 smartphones, iPhone 12, and iPhone 12 Plus are set to be named as the same branding strategy as with iPhone 2019.
According to sources, there will 4 different variants of iPhone 12 that will be available, two in the high-price segment while 2 in the mid-range segment. The premium segment will have 6.7 inch and 6.1-inch devices while the lower one will have a 6.1 inches and a 5.7-inch model with some lower specifications. Another news about the cameras is coming that the upper versions will have triple-camera lenses while the lower two will have a dual-camera setup, though it is not yet officially revealed.
The OLED screen is expected to be included on all iPhones in 2020 at no cost, so a “ProMotion” refresh rate of 120 Hz may be used on some of the top versions, although it is not assured due to battery life restrictions. Apple could be forced to wait until 2021 to add this functionality.
Rumors say that the upcoming iPhones would undergo a complete revamp of a metal frame identical to the iPhone 4 or iPad Pro in 2020. The stainless-steel design became a distinct and smooth appearance on the iPhone 4 that could be repeated in the 2020’s modern iPhone models and matched the style with the 2020 iPad Pro models.
iPhone 12 Network & Design
2020 marks Apple’s biggest year with the smartphone, enabling new users to link to 5G networks far better than 4G LTE networks. Rumors also suggested that all iPhones in the iPhone 12 line-up will come with 5G coverage technology or not because many countries around the world still don’t have mmWave technology. So, this feature might be launched only in some countries, but how Apple tackles this situation will be the most interesting thing to see.
The Apple-designed 5-nanometer processor A14 developed by TSMC will be used for the iPhone 12 models in 2020.The A14 processor is supposed to increase both the speed and performance, to optimize all of the devices for 5G that might consume a lot of battery.
