Microsoft Surface Go 2, Surface Book 3 Launched: Details

    Microsoft recently launched the Microsoft Surface Go 2 and surface book 3. In this article, we will be providing you with all the details about the two products. Microsoft Surface Go 2 will cost around Rs. 47,599 (Intel Core M3) in India. The higher 8GB + 128GB storage model will cost Rs. 57,999 (Intel Pentium Gold) and Rs. 63,499 (Intel Core M3). The tablet has been launched in the Platinum, Black, Poppy Red, and Ice Blue color options. The Microsoft Surface Book 3 is available in sizes 13 inches and 15 inches.

    The smaller with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage model, and 10th-Gen Ice Lake Core i5 processor will cost Rs. 1,56,299. The 16GB RAM, 256GB storage, and i7 core variant will cost Rs. 1,95,899. The 32GB RAM and 512GB storage, i7 Core processor model will cost around Rs. 2,37,199. There is also a 1TB storage model which will cost you Rs. 2,59,299. The bigger model 15-inch Microsoft Surface Book 3 will cost Rs. 2,20,399 for the 16GB RAM and 256GB storage, and i7 core processor variant. The 32GB RAM and 512GB storage variant comes at the price of Rs. 2,66,499 and the 1 TB storage model will cost you Rs. 2,86,199.

    Microsoft Surface Go 2 Surface Book 3

    For commercial purposes, Microsoft has made available the option of Nvidia Quadra RTX 3000 as well. This premium model with an i7 core processor, 32GB RAM, and 1TB storage will cost Rs. 3,40,399. Surface Book 3 is available in India only for commercial customers. Commercial customers can contact their local commercial resellers to check for availability. Microsoft Surface Book 3 came first in the month of May and it features a display of 13-inch (3,000×2,000 pixels)and another 15-inch (3,240×2,160 pixels) display.

    It comes powered by the quad-core 10th-Gen Intel Core i5-1035G7 and i7-1065G7 processors, paired with RAM up to 32GB and up to 1TB SSD options. It runs on the v Windows 10 Pro and also offers Microsoft 365 apps preloaded. The bigger model of the product integrates NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 graphics, whereas the smaller model offers up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650.     Common features of both products are the 13 inch and 15-inch model including the Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, two USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C port, two Surface Connect ports, an SDXC card slot. And also includes a 5-megapixel front and 8-megapixel rear cameras, with far-field stereo microphones, and a keyboard fully backlit.  The 13-inch model is able to offer up to 15.5 hours of battery life, whereas the 15-inch model is able to offer up to 17.5 hours of battery life.

    The 13-inch model weighs around 1.64kg while the 15-inch version weighs 1.9kg, including the detachable tablet and keyboard base. Microsoft Surface Go 2 tablet runs on the Windows 10 Pro and features a display of 10.5-inch (1,920×1,280 pixels) with 220ppi pixel density, aspect ratio 3:2, and a contrast ratio of 1500:1. It is also having a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the Microsoft Surface Go 2. The tablet comes in the processor options of Intel Pentium Gold 4425Y and the 8th Gen Intel Core M3. There are up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage options as well.

    There is a 5-megapixel facing camera at the front on the Surface Go 2 and an 8-megapixel rear-facing autofocus camera with 1080p HD recording support. It integrates a 2W stereo speaker with Dolby Audio Premium and it supports dual far-field studio mics. The Surface Go 2 has a magnesium body with an integrated kickstand.

    The features include a Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, eSIM support, single Nano-SIM tray, GPS, A-GPS, USB Type-C port, Microsoft’s proprietary Surface Connector for charging and accessories, a headphones socket, and a microSD card slot.
