Attack on JP Naddar’s convoy. A group of activists jumped with the grassroots flag. The BJP president and his convoy were hit by vehicles of several central and state level leaders. On Thursday, BJP president JP Naddar had a working meeting at Abhishek Banerjee’s average Diamond Harbor. High-voltage tensions surrounding the meeting had already erupted. But on the way to the meeting, an unprecedented attack took place on the convoy of the BJP president.
JP Naddar had a workshop at the radio station ground in Diamond Harbor. Exactly 20 km before him at Shiakal mor. The ruling party had a street rally led by South 24 Parganas District Youth Trinamool President Shawkat Mollah and Mograhat West Trinamool MLA Giasuddin Molla.
Due to this, the Nadda’s convoy got stuck in traffic as soon as it reached Amtala junction of Bishnupur police station. Then the cars proceeded slowly in the right lane. The first attack took place near Shirakal junction about five kilometers from there. Sticks and flagpoles flew towards the car.
Bricks attack also started falling on the cars behind Nadda’s car. The BJP president’s security forces somehow managed to get Nadda’s car out of there. Dilip Ghosh’s car was behind Nadda’s car in the convoy. That car was also attacked. In front of the convoy was the car of Kailash Vijayavargi, the BJP leader in charge in West Bengal. He was hit in the hand by a brick.
As a result of the attack, a BJP worker in the convoy fell down with a moving bike. Then one by one the cars of several BJP leaders including Mukul Roy, Anupam Hazra, Rahul Sinha … were attacked. Several vehicles of the central forces and police in the convoy were also smashed. A minibus behind the convoy also escaped from the attackers.
In this situation, the convoy of the BJP president left for the meeting place. Nadda was sometimes given the slogan “Go back” in more than one place. Stones were also thrown at ABP Anand’s car while passing through Shirakal.
It was through this situation that JP Nadda’s huge convoy finally reached the meeting place. Most of the cars were broken and crushed! Dilip Ghosh’s car also broke several windows.
