After Twitter and Microsoft, Oracle Crop is in talk with China base company ByteDance Ltd. to acquire its US based business on TikTok. The Billionaire Larry Ellison who is a co-founder as well as the executive chairman and chief technology officer of Oracle has held a preliminary discussion with the parent company of TikTok, ByteDance, who has been with the venture capital company such as General Atlantic and Sequoia Capital, and this is “taking seriously in consideration” to acquire its business in USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
TikTok is a Short video sharing social platform which allows users to share their creative videos on their platform. Since its Headquarter is in China, some countries raised allegations that TikTok shares its user’s data with China because it’s bound with Chinese policy.
After lots of Allegations raised on TikTok, On Friday Mr. President Donald Trump issued an order to ByteDance to sell its USA Based business within 90 days else it will be permanently ban on USA.
The Financial Times said that The Billionaire and co-founder Ellison is one of the few US tech executive who has been support Mr. Donald Trump, though it’s not yet confirm that whether Oracle is the preferred one for Tiktok’s USA ownership by White House or not.
