State Minister for Railways Suresh Angadi is the victim of novel coronavirus infection. He was the first minister in the Narendra Modi government at the Center to die at covid-19. On September 11, he tested positive in the Covid-19 test. Initially, he was asymptomatic, he told himself, he is fine.
But he was later admitted to the “AIMS” Trauma Center’s Covid-19 hospital. He died there today at the age of 65 years.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressing deep grief over Angadi’s death, posted a picture of him and tweeted that Shri Suresh Angadi was an exceptional activist who worked hard to strengthen the party in Karnataka. Everyone respected and loved him. He was a responsible MP, a hardworking minister.

Karnataka BJP MP Rajiv Chandrasekhar also tweeted, “I received the tragic, horrific news of the death of Karnataka BJP leader and minister Suresh Angadi.” Party leader Shobha Karandlaj tweeted that it was her personal loss.
Angadi is an MP from Belagavi constituency in Karnataka. 2004, 2014, 2019, he has won three times from there. He left behind his wife and two daughters. Two BJP MPs from Karnataka died of covid-19 infection. Party MP “Ashok Gasti” died last week.
