The actress made comparisons with Sourabh’s popular mythological characters when she spoke about them. The controversy is viral when several people and political organizations called out the actress for ‘hurting religion sentiments’.
Narottam Mishra the Prime Minister of Madhya Pradesh is said that he “condemned the statement and had directed the Bhopal police to look into the matter”.
Today, Friday morning a FIR is filed against Shweta Tiwari in Shyamla hills police station at Bhopal Madhya Pradesh. The Bhopal Commissioner of police given statement about “We have registered an FIR against actress Shweta Tiwari under the section 295 (A). The case was registered because she hurt religious sentiments through her comment at an event in the city. We will conduct an inquiry and take due course of action”.
After viral video statement the host of this event Salil Achraya is come out with support of actress Shweta Tiwari is said “The conversation was about me asking the actors how they have come a long way and have been trying out different roles. Like how Shweta did Kasautii Zindagii Kay at the start of her career, Digangana Suryavanshi, who is also part of the project, was doing south films and Sourabh has been part of so many mythological shows. That is when all this happened. If someone cuts a part of the video and uses it like this, what can anyone do?”
The Host also added “I was on stage with Shweta when this happened. I was asking a question to actor Sourabh Raaj Jain, who plays a bra fitter in the web series. I had asked him that for a person who has played mythological roles in the past, how it was playing something so different. In a funny way, Shweta said that now we are making God do this.
