UEFA Champions League: Cristiano Ronaldo Strikes Twice as Juventus Beat Barcelona 3-0 to Top Group

Messi’s Barcelona face a humiliating defeat at home to Juventus. Cristiano Ronaldo strike 2 goals from the penalty. This is the first time in seven years that Barcelona have loss a Champions League match at home.

CR Seven was added from the penalty spot in the 13th minutes of the first half and at the beginning of the second half. US midfielder McKinney scored the second goal for Juventus in the 20th minutes of the match.

However, only Ronando enjoyed the 90th minute of the match. Twice he enjoyed scoring goals in his ever-familiar posture and style. In comparison, Messi was dull the whole time. As a result of this match, the Italian club has topped Group G of the Champions League in terms of goal difference. Barcelona in second place. However, both clubs have 15 points. Thus, both teams have gone to the knock-out stage.

Earlier, Ronaldo could not play in the Barcelona-Juventus match in Turin last October due to Covid-19 being positive.  As a result Barcelona won that match 2-0.

This is the first time in seven years that Barcelona have loss a Champions League match at home. Messi’s team has been unbeaten in the Champions League matches at home since 2013. They were unbeaten in 38 matches so far, and it’s a big achievement for Messi and Barcelona.
